We hold a special place in our hearts in District 7 for Amelia since she was born in Atchison, Kansas and spent part of her childhood there as well as in Kansas City, Kansas and Des Moines, Iowa, all of which are in our district. The D7 pins were unveiled at the
Fall Conference in 2011. The US Postal
Service gave us special permission to use these stamps for a
District Project fundraiser. The limited edition
"Amelia Airmail Stamp" pin is $25.
"Amelia's Angel Wings", $20, is also designed to honor her achievements.

Welcome to District 7 with clubs in North Dakota,
South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas and Missouri, and with
the Amelia Earhart birthplace in Atchison, KS.
For the 2012-14 Biennium, I have the privilege of serving
as District Governor and working with our Board Members
and Committee chairs to fulfill Zonta's mission of advanc-
ing the status of women worldwide. Each biennium brings
new opportunities. We are in the process of redesigning
our Web site and hope you will find it attractive and
