Amelia Earhart Fellowship Committee

Responsibilities:

• Disseminates and receives pertinent information from the Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship Commmittee.
• Disseminates and receives pertinent information from the clubs in District 7 concerning the Amelia Earhart Fellowship Award.
• Actively promotes awareness of the Fellowships to relevant institutions and candidates in the District, keeping the club Amelia Earhart Committee chairs informed and up to date.
• Contributes to the mailing list inviting applications for the awards.
• Arranges, in cooperation with local clubs, for a presentation ceremony to give Fellows who live or attend school in District 7 their Amelia Earhart Fellowship wings and certificates.
• Cooperates with the Foundation Ambassador to solicit funds for the Fellowships.

Committee Membership:

• The governor appoints the chairman and such other members of the committee as the Governor deems appropriate.
• The committee chairman and members shall be familiar with the Amelia Earhart Fellowship Program.
