The role of the district ZISVAW committee is to isseminate and receive pertinent information about the ZISVAW and its resolution and the relationship to the programs and activities of Zonta International and Zonta clubs.

Responsibilities

- reports

• to the district governor on a regular basis as stipulated each biennium on progress against district and international program goals for the ZISVAW Committee.

 

- promotes

• awareness of the ZISVAW, its agencies and programs, and understanding of the relationship between ZISVAW and Zonta International.

• recognition of ZISVAW Day (November), International Women’s Day (8 March) and other international days to commemorate, including themes, years, and world decades.

• strategies and resolutions developed by the International ZISVAW Committee.

 

- communicates

• with club ZISVAW committee chairmen, acting as a resource for ZISVAW related issues.

• with the International ZISVAW Committee chairman.

• with the governor, sending the governor a copy of all correspondence sent to the club and the International chairman.
