At Zonta District 7, we are proud to be part of a global movement committed to advancing the status of women and girls worldwide. Through our support of Zonta International’s Service Projects, we contribute to life-changing initiatives that promote gender equality, improve health and education, and create sustainable economic opportunities for women across the globe.
Each biennium, Zonta International collaborates with leading agencies such as UN Women, UNICEF USA, and UNFPA to deliver impactful programs that align with Zonta’s mission. District 7 clubs play a vital role in raising funds and awareness, ensuring that women and girls in vulnerable communities have access to the resources, rights, and opportunities they deserve.
Our Focus Areas:
- Ending Gender-Based Violence: Supporting programs that address child marriage, human trafficking, and intimate partner violence.
- Education & Economic Empowerment: Investing in initiatives that provide women and girls with the skills, tools, and resources needed to thrive.
- Health & Safety: Partnering on projects that improve maternal health, prevent early marriage, and create safe environments for women and girls.
Current Biennium Projects:
District 7 proudly supports Zonta International’s projects for the 2024–2026 biennium, including:
- Adolescent Girls’ Health and Protection in Peru (with UNICEF USA)
